Objectifs du cours
1)Have a solid understanding of the specific English vocabulary and skills that are necessary in the job search and to have a successful job interview
2)Have a good understanding of recruitment issues in a corporate setting
3)Develop their interviewing techniques using the tools that they have acquired in class
4)Write a clean CV and cover letter in English
5)Handle a job interview in English with greater confidence
6)Apply for a job in English speaking countries
7)Understand the expectations of a future possible employer and the way recruiters work

1)The job search: How to research a potential future employer before the interview
2) CV workshop: Constructing and improving of CVs for an anglo-saxon work environment
3) The cover letter: Selling your skills in writing
4) The job interview: Job interview simulations - analysing job interviews, how do recruiters work - interview process and techniques - handling of difficult questions
5) Assessment centres and short introduction into a popular recruitment tool: The MBTI
6)Reading, analysing and commenting on HBP documents about recruitment (if time)
7) Student presentations: Recruitment practices in different companies/activity sectors
8) Reading, summing up and commenting on a book about online job search
9) Essay writing about a recruitment related subject
