General knowledge of the fashion system

Objectifs du cours

At the end of the course, the student should understand into details the fashion product development process from the idea to the delivery of garments and/or accessories, in order to be able, as a future manager, to supervise and succesfully collaborate with inter-cultural creative, technical and business teams in a fashion company, controlling time, costs, quality and supply chain at each step of the process, proposing creative solutions within the organization and solve professional dilemmas, using concepts of CSR and ethics.

Compose constructive personal feedback and guidance

Évaluation

The assesment will be based on a professional oral presentation. Each group will be defending a project related to the creation of a new collection for a fashion brand. The aim of this assessment is for the students to show their level of understanding of the product development process, step by step, from either a creative and business point of view. The students will be coached by their professor all along the course week.
