Learning outcomes
Feel at ease to:
- discuss political life in Germany; know the German political system
- create a political party in groups and organise a pretend election
- present a pretend company, the strong points of a product or a service
- create an advertisement for potential partners
- prepare and carry out a negociation with clients
- present a controversal issue in the news
- open and lead a debate
The students must show that they hold a strong language skills in German. These lingustic skills will give them the ability to express themselves orally and in a written way on a variety of subjects.
Course description
- Discovering the German political system (functioning, vocabulary, comparison with the French system, news about the German elections to the Bundestag)
- Preparing an oral presentation and written report about a controversal issue in the news or the German political life followed by a debate
- Creating and presenting a pretend company and advertisement B2B
- Preparation and realisation of a negociation with a potential partner
- Following the news by using the appropiate vocbulary
- Working on grammar points and core vocabulary according to students' needs
