Prerequisites
No prerequisite is necessary to attend this course; however previous knowledge or work experience on Purchasing and Supply Chain Management are an asset.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the administrative and practical aspects of international commerce;
-To know all the stages involved in the international trading process to secure a delivered competitive product and service;
- To describe main features of international trade related issues such as: distribution channels, international contract agreements, cargo insurance, Incoterms, currency and payment issues, import/export documentation, customs practices, information systems & technology.
