Prerequisites
Students should juste have basic knowledge of marketing and trade strategy.
This course welcomes beginners and is a good start to get familiar with purchasing function
Learning outcomes
Understand purchasing history, purchasing stakeholders and impact of purchasing in companies.
Get basic knowledge of purchasing negotiation such as importance of both Internal and External Analysis.
Know the link between company's strategy and purchasing strategy.
Be able to manage a supplier panel taking into account cost, quality, service, potential for improvement, lead time, innovation, flexibility and sustainable development.

Place of supplier relationship within the company strategy
Social and environmental compliance in the purchasing process
Finding suppliers
Costing calculation
Transports, incoterms, tariffs, international trade negotiations
