General overview- Presentation
The MSc Operational Ecology provides a strong naturalistic applied knowledge, directly applicable to professional practice of Ecological Engineering. The studies will equip the future engineer in practical skills in species identification with specialization in flora and fauna determination, and in inventory methods and use of biodiversity indices. As there are 10 months of internship, they will be able to manage and negotiate projects too. - Further studies
Engineering Ecologist in Design Office: carries out the impact studies, prepares regulatory files and provides advice and recommendations to companies and communities. It can be specialized in Flora or Fauna (ornithology, mammalogy, entomology, etc.) > Chargé d'études or chargé de mission en Conservatoire (CEN, CBN), Reserve, Association, …: responds to requests for studies in the technical and general field, data collection, problem solving, planning and coordinates the work > PhD student in Ecology - Professional opportunities for graduates
In the public sector or in environmental consultancy: Ecologist, conservation officer, scientific officer, field survey worker, researcher, environmental consultant specialised in biodiversity, scientist - Professor(s) in charge

Admission to Master 1 for students with a Bachelor of Science degree preferably in the field of biology or the environment, and acquired in floristic and faunistic.
